Graduated in clarinet, he perfected his skills with Fabio di Casola at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. He won 7 awards in national and international competitions, including the 1st Absolute Prize at "Città di Stresa" 1996.
He played as First Clarinet in the Symphony Orchestra of Emilia-Romagna "Fondazione Arturo Toscanini", the Orchestra of the Grand Theatre "La Fenice", the Filarmonia Veneta and the Italian String Orchestra, also collaborating with the Orchestra of Padua and Venice, the Orchestra of the "G. Verdi" Theatre in Trieste and the Symphonica Toscanini conducted by Lorin Maazel, with tours in Europe, USA and Japan.
He has been a Clarinet teacher at the Scuola Musicale di Primiero since 1995 and has taught clarinet at the International Advanced Courses in Spilimbergo.
Graduated in Conducting at the Istituto Superiore Europeo Bandistico under the guidance of Jan Cober, Felix Hauswirth and Carlo Pirola, in 2009 he also obtained the Higher Diploma with the highest grade awarded by the institute, later perfecting with Jan Cober at the Bläserakademie Sächsen and with Douglas Bostock at the Bund Deutscher Blasmusikverbände.
Principal Conductor of the Dolomiti Wind Orchestra, he leads the Folk Band of Castello Tesino and the "Città di Feltre" Band. Since 2014 he has been assisting José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana in the Conducting class of the International Courses in Spilimbergo.
